What is Ultrasound Cavitation?
Cavitation is a relatively new non-invasive procedure designed to reduce localized fat by applying safe levels of ultrasound energy via a hand held probe to a specified area of subcutaneous fat. The machine used during this procedure directs high energy waves through the body which creates micro bubbles in the targeted fat area. These bubbles are compromised of vapor. Once these bubbles have formed in the fat tissue the cavitation process begins to take place. The combination of the sound waves and heat will cause the bubbles to liquefy the fat cells and dispose of them through the lymphatic and urinary systems subsequently causing the client to lose inches in that area as well as improve the appearance of cellulite.
How does it work?
Once the desired results are discussed and the proper paper work is filled out, the client will be comfortably situated in one of our private rooms for the procedure. An anti- inflammatory gel will be applied and the clinician will use an ultrasound machine to make strokes and circles on the targeted area. The machine will vibrate and heat the fat cells below the skin’s surface. The procedure typically lasts 25 minutes per area and is essentially painless.

Tips for Post Procedure.
Clients should continue their daily routines as there is no downtime for this procedure. Due to the release of thermal energy some clients may swell or see slight redness in the area. This is completely normal and can be treated by using lotions with aloe vera. We also recommend that our clients drink a lot of water to help metabolize the fat and ensure a successful procedure.
