How TriPollar RF Works

TriPollar RF tightens and rejuvenates sagging skin using radiofrequency energy. An applicator that contains three special prongs is used to massage the skin of the areas being treated. The prongs are electrodes that emit high-frequency electrical current.

The RF energy heats the targeted tissue, which triggers an increase in collagen production. Collagen is a structural protein that helps to tighten skin and give it strength. This reduces the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging, and it also helps to give the skin a plumper and more youthful appearance.

The TriPollar Difference

Other forms of RF technology have been used for skin tightening and rejuvenation, such as monopolar and bipolar RF. However, the power of tripolar RF is unparalleled. Both monopolar and bipolar RF are unable to provide highly focused energy. The three-pronged system behind tripolar RF allows the energy to be centralized and focused between the three prongs.

What to Expect from Your TriPollar Treatment

First, the skin is cleansed to remove any makeup, creams, or debris that could reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. Next, the applicator is used to massage the areas being treated so that the RF energy can penetrate the tissues. The skin is then cooled to complete the treatment. The treatment should produce no pain or discomfort.

There is no downtime following your TriPollar RF treatment. You will be able to resume your normal activities immediately. Multiple treatments are needed to achieve the desired results. Most people will need around six treatments. Additional treatments can be performed every six months to maintain results.
